Editor's Review Get ready to move and groove with Danny Go! Two new preschool toys allow kids to interact with Danny Go! just like on the Danny Go! YouTube channel.  The Music Mix-Up Boombox plays five different songs when kids press the play/pause button. It also comes with five figures of Gerald, Mindy Mango, Danny, Bearhead, and Pap Pap. Kids can match the shape of the figure base to the shape on top of the boombox and watch the boombox and figure base light up. When you turn the Mode Selector Knob, you can change between three play modes. In Music Mix Maker Mode, kids can add and remove figures to add and remove vocals and musical instruments to the background music. In Music Game Challenge Mode, Danny will tell kids which figures to add or remove. Danny will either identify the figures by the name of the character or what instrument they play. There is also a Bedtime Mode that plays two lullabies with a soothing light show for about 10 minutes. The toy does have volume control, but in lower volumes, it’s hard to hear some of the instruments. Three AA batteries are included. The Color Beat Drumsticks is a set of two light-up sticks that play music and sound effects. Each 11.5-inch stick has a foam-like top and two buttons on the handle that change up the colors and music. Pressing the Music & Sound Effect button on the red stick cycles through three different songs and 16 sound effects. Each time kids tap or shake the stick, they’ll hear the selected sound effect play. This same button on the blue stick only cycles through the 16 sound effects, not the songs. If you want to turn off the sound effects on either stick, just press and hold the sound button for four seconds. On both sticks, pressing the Color Selector Button cycles through rainbow, red, green, blue, magenta, teal, yellow, orange, and pink colors. Tapping or shaking the drumstick makes the colors shine brighter. If you want to turn off the lights, simply press and hold the color button for four seconds. This does include six AAA batteries. We like how they incorporate favorite Danny Go! songs, bringing the fun of the YouTube channel to life for kids off-screen.
